- The Lockyvia and Freevia motorisations allow, in the event of a power cut, manual opening by manually unlocking the motor with a key, so you can open the electric gate by hand.
Somfy backup battery
However, you can purchase a backup battery (Somfy option) that keeps the gate working during a power failure (the backup battery is incompatible with a solar power supply).
To do so, you will need to charge the battery for 48 hours beforehand for optimal use. The backup battery has an autonomy of 10 continuous cycles or 24 hours on a gate in perfect condition.
