To open an electric gate manually;
Our swing gates and sliding gates can be sold with their respective motorization if you wish to automate your outside opening:
- Engines Lockyvia and Freevia motorizations enable manual opening in the event of a power cut, by manually unlocking the motor with a key, thus opening the electric gate manually.
However, you can purchase an optional Somfy battery back-up, which ensures gate operation in the event of an electrical failure(the battery back-up is incompatible with a solar power supply).
To achieve this, the battery must be charged for 48 hours in advance, so that it can be used optimally. The back-up battery has an autonomy of 10 continuous cycles or 24 hours on a gate in perfect condition.
